The SES Solar Cooperative in Saskatchewan presented a landmark event in October 2025, Powering Change: Cooperatives & Renewable Energy, marking its 10-year anniversary with a dynamic forum exploring the transformative role of cooperatives in Canada’s renewable energy landscape.
Co-hosted by CECC (Community Energy Co-operative Canada) and CCSC (Canadian Centre for the Study of Co-operatives), the event took place at the CCSC in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and included virtual participants. The event featured a panel of thought leaders and change-makers discussing how Renewable Energy Cooperatives (RECs) are shaping Canada’s future as a global energy superpower.
