Bringing Together Canada’s Community Energy Movement
October 8–9, 2026
Concordia University, Montréal, QC (Hybrid: In-person & Online)

The CECC Annual Community Energy Forum 2026 is a national gathering that brings together Canada’s community energy movement to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and advance community-owned energy systems across the country.
Hosted in 2026 at Concordia University in Montréal, this bilingual forum focuses on strengthening the community energy sector, sharing practical knowledge, and exploring strategies to scale renewable energy co-operatives as key partners in Canada’s energy transition.
This is more than a conference – it is a collaborative space for practitioners, policymakers, researchers, Indigenous leaders, municipal actors, and social economy organizations working to accelerate community-led energy transitions across Canada.
